Char’s son plays football on a Sunday morning and it has become our family tradition to go and watch. Now on a good day I will get up and whip us up one of my famous sausage rolls (more on that in another post). But more often than not we are a tad hungover and find ourselves with an hour to kill before the match starts, starving and in some vague area in Essex where civilisation that alone food is scarce.
This particular week we were in Hackney; which was an exciting prospect for us; there’s not a lot of times I’ve been excited to be in hackney but because it is close by, no motorway journey and we may actually find somewhere good to eat.
INTRODUCING: WELL STREET KITCHEN

Food:
They had a good selection with vegetarian and vegan options which was good but to be fair the food was pretty average for the upscale brunch place it’s trying to be.
Experience:
The place had a rustic charm but was a little grubby. Although they did play some nice music; a bit of Bob Marley always has me sold.
Price:
£11.50 for a full English, could get a lot more and better quality for your money.
Verdict:
The most greasy non greasy spoon I’ve been to.
Rating: 5/10
